California Residents Privacy Policy
This privacy notice is being provided by CNA National Warranty Corporation (“CNA National”) and describes the additional rights provided to California residents under the CA Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and/or the CA Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”).
CCPA/CPRA provide certain rights to California residents. These include the right to:
- Opt-out of selling your personal information (CNA National does not sell your personal information);
- Know what information we collect, use, or disclose about you; and
- Delete your personal information.
CNA National may need to verify that a request to exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA is valid. In order to fulfill our obligation to you, or your authorized agent, we may ask you to:
- Provide additional information necessary to verify your identity to make your request;
- Provide proof that an agent is authorized to act on your behalf if an agent is making the request; and/or
- Request additional information prior to us taking any action with your personal information.
RIGHT TO OPT-OUT OF THE SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
While the CCPA/CPRA give you the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information, CNA National DOES NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
NOTICE TO CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
RIGHT TO KNOW
As a California resident the CCPA/CPRA allows you to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information collected about you by CNA National. You have the right to request that CNA National:
- Disclose the categories of personal information CNA National has collected about you;
- Disclose the categories of sources from which your personal information is collected;
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal information;
- Disclose the business or commercial purpose for collecting your personal information;
- Disclose the categories of third parties with whom CNA National discloses your personal information;
- Disclose the specific pieces of personal information CNA National has collected about you; and
- Disclose whether or not your personal information has been sold. (CNA National does not sell your personal information.)
Any disclosure we provide will cover personal information that CNA National has collected from and about you in the twelve (12)-month period immediately preceding the date we receive your request.
CNA National does not collect “Sensitive Personal Information” as defined in CCPA/CPRA Cal Civ Code § 1798.140.
CORRECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you want to correct the personal information that CNA National has collected about you through this privacy notice, please contact the CNA National Privacy Manager using the contact information set forth below.
RIGHT TO DELETE
As a California resident the CCPA/CPRA allows you to request and obtain removal of your personal information collected about you from CNA National. You have the right to request CNA National to delete your personal information that CNA National has collected about you. CNA National will evaluate your request upon receipt and process your request subject to exceptions as outlined by the law.
RIGHT TO OPT OUT
The CCPA/CPRA grants you the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. However, CNA National does not engage in the sale of personal information.
OTHER INFORMATION
"Do Not Track" Signals
CNA National does not respond to “do not track” signals.
NON-DISCRIMINATION DISCLAIMER
CNA National will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

REQUEST AND VERIFICATION PROCESS
If you wish to exercise your right(s) to access your personal information, correct your personal information, or to delete your personal information call our toll free number at 800-345-0191, extension 414, or visit our webpage. Once the request is verified, we will then attempt to provide a response to your request within forty-five (45) days from the time it was received. We will notify you if we need additional time to respond to your request (up to an additional forty-five (45) days).
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
CNA National products are not intended for use or used by minors, including children under the age of thirteen (13). CNA National does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE
CNA National reserves the right to change this Policy at any time. The “Revised Date” legend at the top of this web page indicates the date the last revision was made. Any changes become active upon notice being provided. Notice of changes may be given by any reasonable means including by posting a notice on the Website. Your use of CNA National services after changes to this Policy means that you accept the terms of the revised Policy.
